I adore Big Bang. ![]() It's kinda weird because I was never into Asian songs back then because I can't understand them. But, since the day I received that one text ![]() message from my classmate, Mark, that contains the infamous "I want nobody, nobody but you!", I got curious. I also remembered my other classmate/friend, Dianne, who have this knack for Taiwanese and Korean boy/girl groups specifically Fahrenheit and 2NE1. ![]() There was this one time when she played 2NE1's song "Fire" from her cellphone. I really listened (she was singing the guy's part at the intro and it's a rap, LOL) and I also learned that Sandara Park (she once lived here in the Philippines and people nicknamed her 'Krung Krung', she was also a celebrity here. =D) is part of the now uprising foursome. Hmmm... What else? Oh, Channel V. Channel V is one of the few channels I watch nowadays and it just don't play typical American songs but also Asian ones and recently they featured "Big Bang" in Videoscope and because I had nothing else to do at that moment (and I already knew Big Bang then when I watched Channel V and the Playlist show at that time contained a lot of Asian songs. Big Bang's "Gara Gara Go" was on the list.) so I finished the whole show and I enjoyed every minute of it, surprisingly. Even though I don't understand most of what they were saying in their songs, I somehow have a slight hint of the content because of the video and the title. I was glad when I heard "With U" because the whole song's in English. =D My favorite songs of theirs are "Haru Haru" and "Sunset Glow". It's kinda amazing, despite the song's interpretation, they always manage to blend it with a tune that can make you dance and sound good at the same time (even though it's meant to be a sad song, where most of the time, ballet/jazz is the appropriate dance equivalent, you can dance/interpret it in hip hop). So there. Oh, I know you're waiting for this. I like ALL of the Big Bang members but... (in this part, I can imagine you saying, "I knew she can't simply like this group just because of their songs.") Seung Ri caught my eye. =D ![]() Having good-looking singers behind the amazing songs are just bonus points for a successful group like Big Bang. The rain gives a lot of hallucinations. Fairies dancing at eye level. I can feel them poking me, I think they want me to stop sulking at this weather. ![]() I dislike the rain. It prevents a lot of enhancement for your physical well-being. |

As a lot of teenagers are, I am also mostly involved into music. I listen to music every time 'certain' things happen around me. I don't wanna be specific. =D Bottom line is music helps me put stress out. Labels: music, random post |

![]() .slightly fictional. It's already 10pm and I feel within me the urge to sneak out and go wherever. I rolled out of my bed and dressed up in a plain black shirt, cargo shorts, black boots and took my yellow jacket and jumped out of the window. I better leave a note. I went back in and wrote on a post-it, JUST WENT OUT, I'LL BE BACK, DON'T WORRY. Smiling to my weirdness, I posted it to my tall mirror. Taking my cellphone and 200 bucks with me, I started to walk towards the path to the park.
After about 15 minutes of walking, I reached the park. I went to the merry-go-round and lied down and used my feet to turn it around. The stars are out tonight. A lot of them twinkles beneath the pointless lives of human beings. I smirked. Yes, a lot of people thought they know everything, obviously know-it-all's. I'm surrounded by them because some are even blood relatives. I turned the merry-go-round one last time, hung my feet in the air, and closed my eyes. I suddenly saw in my mind, green cat-like eyes. I opened my eyes and noticed the moon for the first time. Full moon. I sat up and saw three cats in front of me and it seemed they were looking at me. Hello cats. They bowed down and the two left leaving the silver cat with black stripes in the middle.
The cat in front is just staring at me so I tried to call it. You know the sound to try the cat to get to come near you? That sound. It moved and jumped to my lap. I was shocked at first, then I smiled. You're not like any cats out there, huh? //pets the cat// Good kitty. I lied down once again and held the cat to my tummy, I also turned us around with the use of my feet. While the spinning of the merry-go-around is happening, the cat was just looking at me. It felt odd knowing that because, well, it just felt weird. I stopped the turning and looked at my watch. It's already past 12am. How time flies when you're not doing something on the run. I stood up and put down the cat, petted it then walked away. While on my way back home, I had a feeling as of someone was following me, I looked behind me and saw nothing. Well, that's what you get for walking in the middle of the night, the feeling of danger, but still. I reached my house and climbed up my bedroom window, closed it then changed my clothes. I went to my mirror and saw another post-it under the note I wrote. I KNOW YOU'RE JUST BY THE PARK. I smiled, knowing it's my brother who wrote it. His handwriting is so familiar. I took both of it and threw in the trash can. I looked at the mirror again and saw the cat from the park outside my window. I looked behind me and saw the cat raise his right paw and it looked like it was knocking. I went to the window and opened it. I carried the cat and closed the window. I sat on my bed and lay the cat down. Well... What are you doing here? Are you a tracker cat or something? Hmmm... How the hell could it answer me, it's a freaking cat. I stood up and took a blanket from the upper part of my closet. You're here now... You... //puts down the blanket beside my pillow// will sleep here. The cat walked to the blanket and lied down. I smiled. Guess it's trained. I climbed up my bed too and lied down. I looked at the cat and it's looking at me. I petted it. You're creepy, kitty. But I like the color of your eyes and fur. Whoever lost you must be pretty sad now. The cat closed it's eyes and I closed mine too. I got a trained cat for my night-out in the park. Labels: cat, fiction, imagination, walk in the park |

It's the first day of October and things here inside the house aren't halfway fine. If you haven't heard yet, a typhoon struck our tropical country. ONDOY'S A BITCH. One of the bitchiest. It started last Saturday, September 27, and up to now, October 1, flood is still visible to some areas. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Those are just a few. You have no idea of what happened here if you didn't live here. AND GUESS WHAT? Another storm is on the way! The name's Pepeng and I think it has struck our country now because it's raining again. It's been a very loooooooooong time. Hahahaha. And guess what? It's already September, one more month and it's my birthday, our finals and the end of the first semester of our 3rd year in college. Tsss... What has happened for the past weeks of no update here? Well, I was never really gone in the online world. My facebook account's mostly updated. and also my multiply, oh, and friendster. =D Our prelims. Tsss. A week of hell. Actually, the week before and after prelims is hell, so it's really three weeks of reports, exams, nosebleed lectures and frustrating results. @.@ Hmmm... OH! JABBAWOCKEEZ CAME!!! I was so ecstatic when I found out!!! And I got a chance to watch!!! I say that it's one of the best nights in my life! I get to see them LIVE!! =DDD We (me, my father and my brother) watched at their last show here in Philippines, which took place in front of Glorietta 5. We haven't got any tickets but because my father has connections inside the metal-fenced area, we managed to get in! I even got 2 guys (Well, one is our classmate in karate and the other is his brother) to enter with us. =DDD It started at around 6 and ended at around 7. After the show, they went to The Atrium inside for the photo op, we didn't go anymore because of the jam-packed place. But still!!! The experience was unforgettable!! So there, not much happened. Ups and downs, it's just a balance of events of life. =D .I think I'll change the layout of this blog. Labels: blog, college, jabbawockeez, school stuff |
